My betta has had fin rot for a few days/weeks niw and it’s only getting worse. Íve treated him with melafix, kanaplex, and I’m currently trying mythlene blue. I only cap top off my tank cuz it’s a jungle and the plants filter everything. The parameters are consistently 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 5-10 nitrates with the API master test kit.
I have a 20gal tall with 4 kuhli loaches, 6(?) baby Oto cats, a bristle nose pleco, a couple blue jelly shrimp, and a whole bunch of snails. Can anyone help me figure out what to do? I don’t have a hospital tank available and my parents won’t let me get one so please accommodate to that. Thanks!

More frequent (daily) small (20-25%) water changes for a few days. Kanaplex again, additional tannins, if your temp is below 80 I’d bump it up to 81-82f and then finish with a quick salt tx when the second Kanaplex treatment is finished.
This is usually how I cure the stubborn ones – Kanaplex x2, the water changes and shit tons of Indian almond leaves.
