Betta Fish: Betta Update

Not sure if anyone wanted an update on this, but I tried some of the tips in the comments and unfortunately my old girl didn’t have much fight left in her. She’s at peace now and is buried under a tree in my yard. I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice and kind words during such a difficult time.

She was gifted to me as my first betta over two years ago (photos shown here) and will probably be my last for a little while. The bond with a betta is so special, but the goodbye hurts like hell.

Hugs to anyone going through the same, i know a lot of people say “its just a fish”, but I sure will miss her swimming up to me every day when I came to the tank 💜
