This is my betta cobalt and he is doing super well. As you can see, his colors are great, and he is super lively. I do want to mix up his diet tho, because I think he could even be healthier. Right now he eats fluval bugbites betta pellets 6 days per week, and fasts for one. I can not get him to eat tubifex worms, bloodworms, or daphnia, and sometimes he eats fluval betta flakes. Any tips?

some betta are just picky! Though, i find it sometimes works to drop a couple pellets of their regular food into the tank then drop in the new food 🙂 worked with my guy! i think he just didnt realize bloodworms were a food he could eat until i fed it to him at the same time as a couple pellets lol

Try some frozen food released into the current of the tank, my Alfie chases it and hunts down his “live prey” as it’s caught in the current. Brine shrimp, copepods, bloodworm, chopped mysis shrimp etc. I think he’s spoiled.

Edit: I mean Alfie is spoiled.
