Bought a spinning rod at a garage sale, I want to use it but the ring that keeps the reel seated is cracked and broken. Tried using plastic cement and string to keep it pressed down for a couple days, but the glue stretched right off as soon as pressure was relieved. Any ideas that aren’t just zip tie the reel to the rod?
