I tried my go to flies for this particular area that I fish often. Slush egg, purple Frenchie, white grub, all beaded so they would get deep. I was going to tie on a squirmy wormie but got cold. Are there any flies that I should be using in this kind of weather?

I’d be throwing exclusively nymphs, as deep as they can get. Do a single or double nymph rig with a pats rubber legs (if you have stoneflies there), and something small like a midge or snow-cone underneath.

I love a hail mary squirmy wormy! But I’ve found sometimes fish that are in super cold conditions avoid them and get out of their way as they drift by. So I often go to a small nymph like a zebra or a two bit hooker in red/black. Obvs that’s just for the waters in my area and what’s usually there for bugs.
