Hello! I got my lil guy a little over a month ago now and as far as I can tell he's been thriving.
However yesterday I noticed while looking back at pictures from when I got him that his eyecolour had gone from a pretty light blue to completely black on his left eye and only a sliver of blue on his right.
I know he's a koi type and they can change colour through their lives but I thought that was just their scales.
Could this be a symptom of him being sick? Or does this happen a lot?
The first two pictures are from the day I got him (right then left), the last two are now (right then left).
The waterperemiters are perfect(except nitrate being a bit low), he has his usual spunky, social and active attitude and regular insatiable appetite.
