For the last couple of years I’ve been trying my luck for lobsters.
10 days of pulling traps (more or less) daily.
3 of them weighing around 8kg(18 pounds), from 20-30 meters (80ish feet I guess) down.

Best way I figured for pulling them is grabbing the line low and pull straight up, like doing like a Superman pose.
Don’t want the rope to cut into the kayak over time, but don’t want any leverage and risk flipping. So rope close, but not on the kayak.
This year my hands took a real beating though.

So have anyone figured out a better way of doing it?

Lighter traps is not really an option due to currents and tide..
