I just added paracleanse after a water change which is where I potentially messed up:/ I am seeing labored breathing/flashing/gasping at the surface. I used seachem prime to dechlorinate. Should I use ammo lock?? I really love these guys I don’t want to lose anyone. I just tested my water and I have .25 ammonia but I do have ammonia in my tap water so I’m unsure if it has been converted to a safe form or not but the behaviors are certainly concerning!! What do I do?? Air stone is at max capacity currently.

perform 50% water change as soon as y can, use prime as normal, add ammo lock
I would wait 24 hours to see if the ammonia has been converted at all. If it hasn’t and is still there or has gotten worse I’d definitely try to recycle and reestablish your beneficial bacteria. I assume you’re treating a parasitic infection? Did you remove any established filter cartridges prior to dosing this and place them in a separate container of tank water (so as not to shock it)? I’ve read that Paracleanse is a 5 day treatment, then two weeks later you have to treat the tank again. What day are you on in this process? If it gets any higher than 0.25ppm I’d do a water change, but during treatment I think they will be okay as long as you don’t let it get higher than that.
