Aquariums: One $6 Betta and $200 of plants and tank supplies later
And one happy little 2 year old daughter who didn't want to leave the store without her new friend.
Thankfully I had the rocks and sea shells on hand.

Did you use a filter cartridge from another tank or repurpose some soil? But bettas can be pretty hardy so I’m sure you’ll be fine cycling with a fish just fine
