I got Gismo last night. I did everything right(bacteria starter, conditioner, checking water levels and water temp set at 80). He is putting the food pellets in his mouth but then spits it out right away. I saw him do that 2 times.
Other than that he is doing great, he’s exploring his hides, plants and is active.
I know it’s normal for them to not eat out of stress of new environment but I’m worried.

I found my betta going same thing if they are 2 big they will spit them back out i put tiny bits in try that and see.hope this helps
