Hi everyone! This is my first ever betta fish, she came to me as a surprise from my husband. She's a juvenile, although I'm not sure how old she is.
We put her in my heavily planted 3 gal shrimp tank, because that's all I have at the moment, and have had her for about a week. She has officially decimated the entire shrimp population (or they're hiding exceptionally well) but has thankfully left the 3 snails alone. I added a heater and wood to make her more comfy, and the tank has a filter and light. I feed her a few bloodworms every day. Water parameters are good.
Should I be concerned about the black spots I see coming in on her scales? Does she look ok? Can anyone ID her? Sorry this is my first betta fish, so I just want to make sure she's happy and healthy! Thank you so much for any help.

my betta looks like yours!
The black spots look like normal pigmentation to me.
She’s young, keep an eye on her growth and size. She looks a bit skinny make sure to feed her often with small portions.
