Betta Fish: New to the community

so im looking at getting a betta fish, i have no experience owning fish, i've always wanted one but i've never gotten one, i've done an excessive amount of research but i want some help from the people of this community to help.

if you all can just give me advice on what tank to get, how to set it up, what plants, what food, etc, just everything to know about owning a betta is greatly appreciated

i'm wanting to set up a tank similar to the one shown above if there's any tips to that as well that would be much appreciated.
