I’m setting up a 15-gallon tank.
Elderly neighbor was downsizing for a move, so I ended up taking a solid wood shelf she was getting rid of.
I was thinking of setting up the tank on this shelf, but also wanted to make sure it would hold the weight safely. It is all solid hardwood from what I can tell.
Thoughts or advice?

Yes, absolutely no problem. If you want to be sure, just sit on it and wiggle around a bit.
Id reinforce with some 2×4’s in that middle area
