I've made a few open water rods, decided to make a ice rod. It's a medium light fiberglass blank, going to be my dead stick for the season.
Total cost to build (not including all the rod making gear needed to make it) was about $35.

That’s dope! Would it be possible to do different colors? I’m thinking blue for the eyelet thread! Would be pretty cool at night, love this!
