This is my Betta, and he had been batting some fin rot since the late summer/early fall. He was getting better after summer and then all of a sudden, he started getting it back worse and was lethargic and floating strangely, when I finally realized, it was because the tank was too cold and he was stressed. Fast forward to two weeks ago, the heater is in and he’s healed nicely, but all of a sudden these pale marks/scales show up on his face and head this week.

He likes to sit against the filter tube and between the plant and stuff himself under the heater between the rocks, so I’m thinking these might be slight injuries, but I’m not sure. They are not fuzzy or raised, it just looks like discolored scales.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
