I ordered some plants the other day and placed in my new 10gal. Once everything settled I found this little stow away swimming around. Shrimp? Im new to all this and wanted a second opinion!

A scud like others have said and are generally good for the aquarium, they are a good food source for fish who eat them and there similar to shrimp in there clean up abilities!
