Anybody that’s not from Southern California cast like this? Usually only see it on sport boats out here. Also rate my form!

Only carp fisherman and monsters cast like that.

Sometimes, we fish below the dams for big catfish. The cast is something like that, but with a whole body motion because you can’t go closer than the safety cable (turbines and such) so people in boats tie off to the cable. At one dam I’ve fished, someone brought a range finder and said it’s 107 yards from the cable to the dam. The whole body motion helps you get up there.
