Got 5 baby’s in the last 2 days. Still searching for a 30+ incher. Also my reel started making a weird noise. Anyone know why? Or what it could be from?

Looks like an estuary/harbor which are basically where all of the pancakes are typically. There will always be more legals out in the surf zone.

That sounds like sand in the bearings to me. You should be able to take the spool off, then unscrew the housing screws and give everything a rinse in freshwater and a dry. Then re lube (i use ceramic chain lube for bicycles) and put it back the way you found it.
If its a cheap reel, though, would be easier to just buy a new one.
