I got a nice 55 gallon tank with stand on Facebook marketplace for only $80. It was only used for a reptile but the guy said it holds water.
Filling it up to check for leaks and noticed the water is very blue tint. I'm guessing it's a quality of the glass? Was curious if anyone knew why and if it would affect usage as an aquarium beyond the blue tint.

Edit to main post: the guy was way off, it’s actually about a 100 gallons! Wow. It’s only my second tank but I’m excited.
that’s an old tank, look at the bottom glass edges and try to find the manufacture date. Most likely needs a reseal to even be safe. I have one alike that I got the other day that was 32 years old and still holding water but dangerous lol
Different glass formulae have different colors.
