I started using these thread scissors that I found at a job site to cut fishing line. I think they are commonly used in clothing production to snip off stray strands. They are amazing. You can buy them online for under 15 bucks. Can cut any size fishing line with the exception of metal wire leader. I feel like they are much better than some of the fishing line cutters you buy in store.

I’d rather have these any day. Does everything yours does, but super light, less likely to rust and clips to my vest
Also less likely to end up in the emergency room if I trip with them in my chest pocket
