First I've seen some minor rips on the tail. I had a tank rescape, kept the water, filter, plants, part of the substrate (layer too thin at first), added wood and catappa leaves, as well as water with tannins.
He was happy, active and thriving the whole month, even the rips started healing nicely.
Last week, the color on the tail and fins started to dissappear a little.
Over the span of three-four days he became more and more lethargic.
This is the second day of salt baths.
Pineconing appeared today.
Is there anything I can do or should I expect the worse?

Kannaplex is your best bet, really helped my boy.
Kanaplex and salt. This isn’t treatable unless you use actual medication.
