Assuming my stepfather’s father traded a pack of Wrigley’s for this rod during the occupation of Japan. Have no story on it, and there are no markings on it. Put an Orvis Battenkill Disc III slung with 5wt line on it and the rod weighed significantly more (when attempting to balance it at the top of the cork). Appreciate any thoughts. Tight lines!
PS: pardon the mess. We just moved into our very first house on Saturday.
