Bought this exact frozen Daphnia for my fish, noticed upon thawing it was more red than the previous packets I’ve gotten. Come to realise I’m 90% sure this is baby brine shrimp?? I’m so confused how could this happen

Daphnia is more colorful than brine shrimp. I’ve had both for years. The food has been frozen. Freezing can alter them. So some would lose some color. Overall, when u net them live, Daphnias are more colorful than brine shrimp.

How big is the container you have them in? Baby brine shrimp are tiny tiny, about as small as they can be while still visible to the naked eye.
