He loves hats, hoodies, and smokes and has been asking for an ashtray. He's very much the type to love when someone puts effort into something, but I just want to know if these are actually things someone would like in the *fishing world* lol

I’m just a beginner too, but I’d love them! The one thing I would recommend is switching out one of the caps for a bright orange one. It’s useful if you’re fishing in an area where people might be hunting (and maybe a reflective vest too), and just really fun to wear

An SPF rated sunshirt with a hood Will make his day if he doesnt have one. I would avoid bass pro hats, some People like them but personally (and a lot of fisherman share this opinion) we dont need to advertise johnny morris’s multi billion dollar conglomerate on our foreheads.

You can’t go wrong with new lures. These are good gifts but… I am unsure about the hoodie.
If his head is shaped anything like mine (big-ish) don’t get that 2nd hat. That sucker is meant for little heads.
