I'm asking for help on how to treat my fish. I just noticed this infection on his back fin. Not sure if it's bacterial or fungal. Any advice welcome.

Could be cotton wool disease. Anti fungal treatment and salt baths help that. Could be from temperature swings, poor water quality, aggressive tankmates or even uneaten food. Vacuum the substrate until 30% of the water is gone. Remove carbon from the filter cause it’s gonna remove the meds. I’ll add one to two teaspoons of salt per five gallons. That’s helps slime production on the feesh.Maybe even quarantine that guy for a bit. If not it’s ok just treat the tank. Good luck!🤞🤞
