forgive me if this breaks rule 6 i have no intentions to ridicule i’m just trying to understand. lots of comments seemed to be ok with this tank setup but the fish seems extremely agitated and the tank size seems abysmal for that size of fish. i think it’s a snake fish judging by the name of the account. is this safe conditions for a fish like this or am i right to be concerned?

Fuck that thing.. what the hell.
I would venture to guess not at all. 😓
Probably not. Still aggressive AF though
Snakehead pretty sure, it’s kind is destroying the natural ecosystem of rivers here in the U.S.
I remember as a kid a local pet shop owner was bragging about these, and he was going to let some go into ponds around me with other exotics.
How can you tell the tank size from the video? The only dimension I can get a bit of a grasp on is height, which is probably the least important dimension for most fish.
Really depends on how far back the tank goes. the murkiness honestly doesn’t mean much with how much thrashing there is.
The behavior displayed is like getting a betta to flare with a flare toy. He 100% thinks thats a rival snakehead. Fine as long as its not sustained
Its all a big ‘it depends’. Not enough info at all.
He sure doesn’t seem to think so 🫣🫣🫣
Looks like AI to me.
The fish wants to kill, it is not being allowed to kill. Therefore there is stress. If he would put his hand in the tank that would de-stress the fish.
Snakeheads are not known for their calm demeanor or loving behavior. They can be like a Dovii that is having a bad day.
That is fish you can leave in your field and come back and get it later. You could put it on the floor to do a 100% water change but then there is that “Need to kill” being near your ankles.
Ask to. Eat that one.
Go honeyboo boo on it

It could be a feeding tank. I know some monster fish keepers will move the fish to a separate tank to feed them as they’re very messy eaters. Keeps their main tabk cleaner.
That’s AI
To answer your question, No! It isnt being kept properly. Snakeheads are aggressive, yes but to toy with aggression stresses the fish out.
The water does not look clean, and from what we see here I don’t think there’s any kind of filter here (if I’m wrong, that’d be great).
The water level is also low may to keep the snakehead from jumping or it just evaporated over time. All in all large monster size snakeheads do not belong in an aquarium.
