decided to buy this drill and just get the 12 ah battery
verse the fuel with a 5ah

Yes.
I bought this setup but with the hammer drill for the side handle and an 8ah battery. There are 3 of us that run the exact same setup, 8″ Eskimo pistolbit auger and we easily cut 50+ holes of 12″+ ice on a fresh battery. You’re ready to get after it
