My betta has been like this for a week. I’m not sure what caused it as the nitrate levels seem to be at zero. His fins are deteriorating, he lethargic and at the bottom of the tank.
I made him a hospital tank while not feeding him. 80 degrees, pinch of aquarium salt, almond leave… but he hasn’t improved. he’s had small strings of red poop, but not much.
i got home from pet smart about 1 1/2 ago. Right now i just need help identifying what u should do next, and then i’ll figure out the rank situation (it’s 3 gallon with blue gravel, which i know isn’t ideal but i need help right now rather than to be reprimanded)
