looks like it moght be swim bladder related. Does he eat and/or get excited when he sees you approach the tank?

looks like swim bladder maybe? do you have a heater in ur tank? what do you feed him? if the water temps are too cold or if they’re over fed it can cause swim bladder.

I would guess the weight of his fins outside of a swim bladder issue. I’ve noticed bettas with long tails are much less active and rest more than plakat varieties.

I had one just like him a long time ago. He started doing this and it turned out to be the swim bladder.
