I have taken in a tank from my brother that was giving as a present years back. The tank had a 2 inch long baby pleco which now is about 2 feet. The tank is 75 gallons and barely allows for the fish to move. If you can take the fish we are in Cleveland GA. Btw- the photo is not of him, he actually is larger

    Not my geography or I’d take him, but there are some decent places in GA to check. First, check your local fish stores – I have standing requests with all of mine for monster plecos and they’ll often hold them for 48 hours for me. It may be that your LFSes do the same, or want to sell him to someone who wants him. Check them first.

    Then contact GA Aquarium – the info is at the bottom of the FAQ page: https://www.georgiaaquarium.org/frequently-asked-questions/. It’s unlikely they will take him but probably know better than many about other fish rescues. Here are two I found:

    For transport, use a Rubbermaid heavy duty tote with a battery powered bubbler. Good luck!
