my plants haven’t done well in the past even when put in sand instead of pebbles & given fertiliser (seachem flourish) so i decided to buy an airstone bc my tank was most likely lacking CO2, but i’m worried it’ll stress my betta.

it originally had an extremely strong flow with huge bubbles but i’ve had to bend and clip the cord so the strength is much softer..but is it still too much?

  1. He doesn’t look like he’s having a hard time getting around. If you notice him having trouble, turn the flow down.

  2. I have my bubble stone set to roughly the same flow in a 5 gallon tank. I’ve noticed during the day the fish swims around, but when he wants to rest he just finds a place that has no current. Basically I think it’s ok as long as there are plenty of spots with low/no current for them to escape to.
