I had a group of congos in my 120. They want a nice big school like any other tetra, but they are MASSIVE so it’s hard to have a tank large enough to accommodate that. I had 8 and it was not enough. They were timid, easily startled, never quite settled in. I rehomed them.
If you like them you need a huge tank. Preferably larger than 120G imo.
