This is my first time having a betta in 10 years, and he seems to be darting around. He also flares up at the wall a lot a lot. 0 nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia, cycled tank, whats going on? Also i know my setup isnt really good im still working on it

Get rid of the plastic plant. It can tear his fins. He needs more coverage, but like you said, you know that. I’d use live plants to cover.
He sees his reflection. Totally normal.
You have a very pretty and energetic boy, but replace the sharp plastic plants with either real or silk ones so his fins don’t get snagged or torn!
