Tried this lake the other day for walleye, my initial spot was that supposed hump, but when I got there it doesn’t exist, it’s just 35’ of nothing. Currently walking as it’s not thick enough for a sled, so this about 1km of distance to walk from launch to the island.
Green is 8-16’, blue is 16’-25’, and purple is 25’+.
I tried a number of spots by the waypoint, but it was just perch.

Are there actually walleye in that lake? That’s usually the first question. I’d also add that walleye spots vary quite a bit based on season. Summer spots like reefs, points etc. may not translate to winter fishing.
Also is it a day bite or a night bite ..I fish lakes where eyes just will not bite during the day. Last night they turned on at 11:30 and we caught 14 eyes in an hour!
