Betta Fish: Dragonscale new home video

So, finally he’s all sorted out. He has a heavily planted, 5 gall new home, decent heater and filtration, good water parameters (finally got a test kit yesterday) and 4 Snowball Amanos to keep the algae at bay. But best of all, his tail is growing back! He’d nibbled it down to halfway through the red band, but now thats healed and he’s lost the need for self harm, the white fringe is growing again too, starting with clear “cellophane” patches which quickly gain colour.

I’m so glad I rescued him (and I’ll never forget the shit some people gave me because he has to temporarily live in a 3 litre vase whilst I gathered the requirements for a proper home🙁). He’s got a really good life now, he just had to wait a while for me to get it all properly together 😊.
