Has this spiral wrapped eyelid pattern. Has anybody used these and what’s the pro to it?
The spiral wrap is generally for vertical jigging. That seems like a nice boat rod for jigging but not sure I’d buy a spiral rod for swimbaiting tbh. Definitely worth $100 in any case and it’s worth a shot imo.
Some swim bait rod companies make spiral wrap rod. Low down customs does. I recently purchased a rod from them 8ft heavy spiral wrapped, to use for swimbaits and glide baits. Your new rod could work it’s a matter of having a good backbone to set the hook on a swimbaits especially if you are using swimbaits with owner style hooks. Only way to find out is to try it. Hope it works for you.
Nice rod, with those componentsz yeah I think you know the answer. It was a great deal!
