If there is 4-6 inches of ice in all the lakes near me and we get this warm front will it melt the ice completely or will there still be a layer that can refreeze next week?

You’ll probably lose an inch tops. It’ll all return over the week and then some.

Air temp is not what melts all the ice on the lake. It’s the angle of the sun primarily. It could get to the 70s and your lake would still be frozen although there would be a later of water on top.

It will do little to nothing might lose a little and make things extra wet for a day or two before a nice cold snap

I think I’m sad i have to miss out a few days of ice fishing before going back to work due to how much water will be on top

Could make edges at certain places susceptible to it a bit sketchy if that’s a lot of rain Sunday. But main sheet of ice is likely fine
