New to doing bettas correctly. I got this one at a white elephant. Is the filter current is too strong? There’s also a space to the left of the filter and idk if he can get stuck in that. Is the humidity normal or should I do something about it? This tank is a 10 gallon because I plan on getting more fish.

Heres a photo of the condensation
Yes, that space unfortunately is dangerous for him, he could get stuck. And the flow is quite strong, not sure how you can reduce it with that model
Reduce the flow by raising your water level. You can raise it to where the output is. This low level of water along with substrate and decorations means you certainly don’t have 10 gallons to work with here.
If you are planning to keep Betta fish , first thing through those plastic decorations away and that filter is not gonna be required since it’s producing too strong flow and Betta produces very minimal waste and also you could use some plants like the real natural aquarium plants which will do photosynthesis and consume your ammonia and nitrates from fish food and waste
That pump’s waterfall flow is kinda hardcore, maybe tone it down and a little more water.
