Hello y'all, nice to meet this community. I've been reading a lot of posts and previous suggestions about starting up and wanted to get some help getting started.
I received as a gift a 40 cm. x 44 cm. x 19cm. aquarium (33lt. / 9 gls. aprox.) and began cycling it by ghost feeding and testing it.
Next week I'll get some live plants and when the time comes, introduce crustaceans and afterwards some fishes. The guy at my local fish store told me to get around 6-8 Neon Tetras and one Nerite Snail.
My questions are:
– What live plants do you suggest?
– Is it possible to add shrimps to the mix? (around 5 cherry shrimps)
– Would it be better to get Chili Rasbora instead of Neon Tetras because of their needs of movement/shrimp bullying or it doesn't matter that much?
Thanks everyone for helping me out!

I’d say Chili Rasboras would be a better choice
Neon tetras are very active fish and prefer longer tanks, like a 20 G long because of the dimensions and space they have for swimming and schooling
Plus the Chilis are smaller and would definitely not bother shrimp
