After 2.5 years, my Rummynose Tetra population has dwindled down to three, which is well below the recommended shoal size of six or more. I’m not interested in filling out their shoal at this point.

What do the rest of you do in this situation? Give away? (Hard for me to grab these guys in a planted tank). Hope they are fine with other fish in the tank? (I have rasboras).

Just curious.

  1. Since they were able to gradually adapt to the smaller shoal size I think it’s probably okay to just let them be for now. When they’re only 2 left then sure give them away.

  2. I post in places to see if anyone wants them, but most of the time im just stuck with them until they die. Not much else you can do, unfortunately, if you’re not interested in keeping them anymore.
