Got Mars (male fighter) nearly a week ago all is well but went to do my first partial water change and I added some java moss at the same time and also put a sponge into the filter so circulation isn’t too strong on him. Since doing all that he’s been laying at the bottom of the tank not moving much.
I’ve also had problems with feeding sometimes he’ll eat some pellets but often he’ll just let them sink after eating a few. I got some flakes and bloodworm to change his diet a bit but hasn’t eaten today. Don’t know if I’m just being overly dramatic and stressing him with all these little changes or what pls help.

Looks like the current from the filter’s intake is too strong for him, is your filter adjustable? Might be worth looking into getting a sponge filter instead
