Found this dresser at a thrift store for $80. Do you think it can hold a 55 gallon? Seems to be made of solid wood. I don’t think there’s a middle support, but it should be easy to add some.

If that’s real wood it could hold a lot. I agree adding middle support would be a good idea.

Looks sturdy enough. If you want to test it, I’d see about having three people stand on it and see how sturdy it is. Real wood will be fine
