My neighbor is moving and gifted us his Betta and bowl. We're moving him to a larger tank so this little fish bowl will be empty. That being said, I think this bowl is so cool! Do yall have any ideas on how I can repurpose it?

  1. You could put it in the tank as silly decor lol.

This should not be used to house any animals

Yeah…. Too small for any fish imo but you could make a cool palladium styled Scape in it or some mini carnivorous plants. Happy to see the beta will be moved to a proper tank.

Would look cool inside a large fish tank with plants in / somewhere for shrimp to hide

Im new, so this might be a silly question… but could you not submerge this in a tank and make it a feature? Plants inside like a cave ?

  5. This isn’t a tank, it’s a decorative bowl. I wouldn’t put any animals in it. Maybe plants and a few snails.

Thanks everyone! Totally agree that it is too small for a fish. We got a 30 gallon that has been treated and were giving it until tomorrow before he is moved over. I love the plant ideas inside of the new tank! Once we get it done, I’ll repost a pic!
