Aquariums: I’ve seen people say their fish have gotten stuck with this filter. Does anyone have more info on this?
I’ve had the filter for 1.5 months and I want to figure out how to modify and make it safe for my betta. Does anyone know where the fish get stuck?

Sucks stay away from this filter. Constantly clogs because of the design. When i say Constantly a new filter clogs within a week of use. Your lucky to get a week before you have to pull it out and rinse it off. I use this filter in my dwarf frog tank so I cant speak on fish getting stuck. But I could definitely see it being a possibility. The water intake is just a open hole on the bottom of the filter.
I’d suggest the top fin pro serie filters. Never had a issue with cloging. Easy maintenance and never replaced filter in over a year of having 2 of them operational. Just pull out the sponge filter once and awhile. Rinse it in pulled tank water from a water change and put it back simple as that. No more pointless cartridge filters to deal with.
