so i got my betta fish Ares 2 weeks ago and he’s been under a lot of stress. My tank broke the day i got him after shops were closed so he stayed in a smaller vase until i was able to buy a new the next day and i rehomed him in a slightly smaller tank then the original one.
his fin was already slightly nipped at (?) when i got him (the first picture was taken the day i got him, other two are from today) but it repaired itself the last two weeks.
Due to all this stress i forgot what kind of betta Ares is, because he doesn’t look like a halfmoon-betta which i think he was labeled as

he looks like a half moon that has maybe experience some fin rot/ damage to his tail? You may want to try some aquariumn salt or kanaplex to help him heal. I bought my half moon with fin rot (he was discounted) and that helped him grow his fins back.
