I felt over the wood and rocks before putting them in the tank and sanded or broke off any pieces that felt sharp enough to rip fins.
I'm wondering in a setup like this, how often we should do water changes and what amount of the water? Anything else we should know as first time Betta owners?
Specs:
10 gallon w/ lid
Fluval AC-20, Hygger 10 gallon water heater set to 78f,
6 shrimp, 4 nerite snails
Java moss for baby shrimp to hide in and avoid being gobbled. Two nana barteri stuck in rocks near the top for resting. Red flame sword and cryptocoryne lutea planted in the sand.
Hardscape is seiryu stones and mopani driftwood
