I had to remove one spacer of my other Fuego to get even line laying so I did the same for this one. Does the line laying look as Daiwa intended (aka ABS spool) or should I add the spacer back.

Looks ever so slightly front heavy. I would try your thinnest spacer.

Daiwa reels are supposed to lay front heavy. It’s supposed to make casting better. It looks fine to me.

Most of my daiwas lay front heavy especially fuegos.
