I have had him for about 2 months now & he constantly swims like this, even from when i first got him.
He is able to swim normally when he isn’t doing this, he eats very well, he doesn’t have anything visual that i can point out that’s making him swim like this soo??
Is he itching himself?
Tank parameters are perfect, (25L tank)
Shares tank with a mystery snail who he shows no aggression towards
He swam like this before the airstone was put in too.
He used to do this to the side of the tank, but since i’ve put a thermometer & plants have grown, he’s moved to the front.
I rarely see him exploring the tank or just AWAY from the glass at all & I really wanna know why because I don’t have a clue.

Wondering the same thing. Mine was doing it as well
Possibly doing the betta wiggle-dance-swim of excitement at the front of the glass for your attention… similar to how puppies can come to greet you wiggling their rear-ends with tails wagging. We call bettas “water puppies” for a reason…
What happens if you leave the vicinity of the tank for a long while (like you have to be fully out of his line of sight) – I’m thinking he should calm down a bit then?
I dunno, but that is a beautiful tank, and a beautiful Betta.
