How do I put the cam spring back into this shimano sienna 2500hg reel. I lost my original 1 so I bought a replacement non official one.
There seems to be a small gap inbetween the top half and bottom half of the top part of the body but not sure how to open it.
Because of this i haven't been able to use the reel since it keeps coming out of its socket after 1 turn.

I don’t have a Sienna, but I would say you would need to take apart the rear half of the reel. Have a look at this video from around 17 minutes in.
