I fucked up badly. I used to have this plastic thing underneath my filter because the flow would be a bit heavy once the water starts evaporating, but, since I started to just top off the tank every like 2 days, I had no use for it. I use to have the wholes covered with rocks but thought how it's been there for a while and some holes were exposed and nothing happened to him, I thought I can use it as a hammock and I come in my room and find him stuck. He already had scales turned off when I found him but since the once choice I had was to push him forward since his body clearly wouldn't fit through, I'm scared I fucked him up. This happened like 5 minutes ago and I see him swimming and floating sideways but still alive. Pls help what do I do now?

GIVE HIM A SALT BATH it helps rebuild their slime coat which promotes healing, use kosher salt or aquarium salt or UNSCENTED epsom salts but chances are he isn’t gonna make it and if that is the case don’t beat yourself up these things happen sometimes and it’s best to learn from it and move on the best you can but i’m praying for you and your little guy-ps also maybe try kanaplex if you have it and also do daily water changes to insure he has the cleanest rehab he can
